Crockpot Chicken and Dumplings

Easy Crock Pot Chicken and Dumplings


1 pound Shredded Chicken OR boil chicken and shred it by hand

Chicken Stock/Broth or Bouillon Cubes

1 Can Biscuits

1 or 2 cans Veg all OR Frozen stew or soup veggies OR fresh veggies!

Frozen or Fresh Diced/Chopped onions

1 Can Cream of Chicken Soup

Salt and Pepper

2 to 4 tbs butter



Prepare chicken by boiling and shredding if not already shredded.  Add chicken, butter, onions, and soup to crockpot.  Add minimal chicken stock/broth as needed to get consistency you want. (more stock=watery less stock=creamy) Cook for 3 to 5 hours.  1 hour before serving, add vegetables.  30 to 45 minutes before serving, tear up biscuits either into strips, chunks, or balls, and drop into the crock pot.  Finish cooking until dough is no longer raw.  Add chicken stock as needed.
